Laughter

Having fun in the absence of laughter is absolutely impossible and should it happen it may look really weird. In all my search and encounters I have not come across individuals gathered or groups joyfully conversing without a smile or laughter.

Laughter or smile is precious, beautiful, easy, fun, free and satisfactory. Laughter has become the fundamental culture of some ethnic groups, tribes, denominations, organizations and also in the arena of businesses thereby, offering a massive benefits to it hosts.

Clowns or comedians are not the only agents of laughter, everybody is an agent of laughter. This is so because, laughter is a common language which is easily understood by all races of humanity and is easy to speak.

Laughter

“Laughter is a physical reaction in humans consisting usually of rhythmical, often audible constructions of the diaphragm and other parts of the respiratory system.

It is also a response to internal or external stimuli” as explained by Wikipedia. Humans normally respond to some external stimulus such as tickling and jokes. According to the laughter researcher Prof. Robert Provine, “laughter is a mechanism everyone has, which is part of universal human vocabulary, there are thoughts of languages hundreds of thousands of dialects but everyone speaks laughter in pretty much the same way.”

Laughter is known to be occurring unconsciously: that is, we can inhibit it but not consciously produce it. L-A -U -G -H  is an acronym which stands for Love Abundantly Unconsciously Giving Help. Quiet, pretty right? Yeah, I know you didn’t think of that but now you know.

The Grand Day of Laughter

The famous comedian(clown) Charlie Chaplain once said that “To truly laugh; you must be able to take your pain and play with it.” The unofficial holiday which is the international moment of laughter which was stipulated to be observed on April 14, was created by humorologist Izzy Gessell who encourages people to forget the stresses of daily life and give into the healing and relaxing power of laughter. On April 14, you’ve got to stop wherever the day dawns on you, chill, smell a sweet-scented rose and laugh a little (or a lot) because it is the International Moment of Laughter Day.

How To Observe The Day

It’s a great day to visit some old pals, cook together, eat together and do not forget to laugh together even as you share jokes, watch funny videos, trying to imitate some other friends and tickling each other. This is appropriate because, research has confirmed that, individuals laugh to themselves lesser than talking to themselves. But builds and strengthens relationships when more people come together to laugh. So do not take a breath, do not spoil the fun lol.

Some Jokes To Laugh About

Once upon a time, a child asked his father, “how were people born?” so his father said, “Adam and Eve made babies, and the babies became adults and the adults made babies and so on.” The child then went to his mother, asked her the same question and she told him, “We were monkeys then we evolved to become like we are now.” The child run back to his father and said, “you lied to me!” his father replied, “no, your mother was talking about her side of the story.” – ha-ha-ha!

A bus full of ugly people had a head on collision with a truck. When they died, God granted all of them one wish. The first person said, “I want to be gorgeous.” God snapped his fingers and it happened. The second person said the same thing and God did the same thing. This went on and on through the group. God noticed the last man in line was laughing hysterically. By the time God got to the last man, the last man was laughing and rolling on the ground. When the man’s turn came, he laughed and said, “I wish they were all ugly again.”

– oh my God!

You can’t stop laughing right.
